UN Model Conference
About 12
students from Hebron Community center club shared in amazing
environmental project
about fresh
water recourses and problems in
the Globe .This project is called UN Model conference , the idea
of this scheme is making a conference such as UN conferences and
meetings to discuss one of the vital world issues .
The theme of
this conference is discussing fresh water resources and problems
in worldwide with other
students from the United state of America
. Palestinian
Students worked very hard in order to make a position paper
explains what are fresh water resources ? what are the main
problems ? and what are the solutions ? then they took several
workshop about United nation , it`s purposes and programs , in
addition they shared in other workshop about fresh water and
united nation environmental program . The aim of
workshop was giving
students
clear idea about some important concepts
like Environmental programs , United Nation And fresh water
problems .
Also giving them the
ability of discussing such as important problems on high levels
with foreign people and express their ideas and opinions with
others. Moreover sharing ideas with others
is one of Global Connectivity and Exchange Program aims
.Further more each one of students was a representative
for one country , talked about it , there problems needs
and solutions .
After that they
shared lively with Students from Boston
through Skype and they presented the problem in many countries
such as Canada
, Algeria , Ghana,
and other countries . Then they discussed with each the possible
solution for these problems .
This kind of
activities is very important for students because it give them
high self esteem and they feel that they have the ability to
change and being part of Globe . Also the sense of
responsibility will grow and being something essential in their
life and their future.
