PTPI announces new student chapter in the West Bank city of Hebron!

Kansas City, MO USA - People to People International (PTPI) is proud to announce the newest addition to its expanding chapter network.

PTPI’s Hebron Community Based Learning Center Student Chapter, based in Hebron in the Palestinian Territories, was chartered on July 10, 2007 . Ola Shawer will serve as chapter president and Omar Hasan Dahman will serve as chapter advisor. The students are part of a student club established by Relief International-Schools Online. There are more than 200 PTPI chapters worldwide with thousands of members committed to creating Peace through Understanding.

PTPI Student Chapters are year-round, membership-based clubs that give students an opportunity to learn leadership skills, team building and personal accountability as well as promote peace and understanding in their school and community. Chapters generally focus on learning about other countries and cultures and participating in various humanitarian efforts. The end result is a group of young leaders that have increased global awareness and that also work to make a positive difference in the world.
