Disabled days in Tobas and Jenin

On 3rd of December CBLAC-Jenin organized a day for the disabled people in Tobas governorate. This event was done as we believe that our services must be expanded to reach all places in Jenin and surrounding villages and towns.

The manager of Jenin center, Bader Alhudhud, had visited Tobas for three days in order to meet with all organizations there dealing with the disabled.

The event was very important and this fact was reflected through the audience’s faces.

All the speeches and events during the occasion were done by the disabled children and youth. The main event was done at the Abu Tharr school in Tobas. Following this, the participants visited the Governor’s office to emphasize rights of the disabled.

At the end of the event we gave the disabled students gifts, including books and notebooks and other student materials.

Jenin

In Jenin RI-SOL held an event much like the one in Tobas, but this time including orphaned children and economically disadvantaged youth as well.  Two local organizations, Medical Relief and Future Youth Center contributed donations of clothing for the Eid holiday.

The two events in Tobas and Jenin governorates helped RI-SOL to demonstrate its humanitarian activities, as well as to recruit more students among those who participated in the events either in the audiences or as organizers.
