Arabic Exchange

The Global Connection and Exchange program is very important one as it gives students the chance to meet with other students from several countries, especially as America. In this project students can exchange their ideas and thoughts about many vital issues. Furthermore, on both sides of the exchanges, students are able to learn about each other’s cultures and the Arabic  Language component provides for this in a unique manner.

Through the Arabic component students from Palestine are helping to teach American students Arabic through videos, presentations, and recordings done by students themselves on a variety of monthly topics.

These creative outputs featured students teaching them vocabularies about daily life idioms and the most useful words in everyday life. Next, American students reply to Palestinian students by sending Power Point presentations or videos showing them speaking Arabic. One recent production featured recordings showing two students talking with each other about daily activities.

Students are very happy by this project because they are contributing to learning their mother language at the same time as getting to know American students better.
