Talent Festival in Jenin

Palestinian students participating in the Relief International-Schools Online (RI-SOL) Global Connections and Exchange Program demonstrated their unique talents and hobbies at a festival in Jenin. The RI-SOL Community Based Learning and Action Center based in the northern West Bank city of Jenin welcomed more than 500 participating students from throughout the district.

Talents included singing, dancing, traditional poetry, sport and circus acts and many official institutions and non-governmental organizations attended. The most unique event at this festival, entitled '100 Words….100 Dreams,' saw over 300 West Bank and Gaza Strip students aged 5-18 compete in a presentation of their dreams, hopes and aspirations for a better future. The competition was an initiative to enable students to put into words their thoughts and hopes. A student from An-Noor School for Blind Students was awarded first place and the second place went to Abdel Rahman from Gaza.
